Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**We are seeking an outgoing
Research Assistant, ideally
someone with healthcare experience (e.g. a Midwife or Research Nurse) to join our department on a part time casual basis, up to 20 hours each week, for 4-6 months.

We are running a questionnaire based study in antenatal (pregnancy care) outpatient clinics across Tamaki Makaurau. The study seeks to measure the adequacy of social resources (e.g. do people have enough food, access to housing, transport) in our community and understand how this might affect pregnancy outcomes.

He kōrero mōu | About you

  • Be reliable, confident, friendly, approachable
  • Familiar with hospital antenatal/outpatient clinics
  • Have experience in discussing research and obtaining consent
  • Have experience in the care of pregnant women/persons or persons with diabetes
  • Excellent record keeping, organisation and documentation skills
  • Be available Monday-Wednesday, and able to work at both South Auckland and Grafton sites
