Rutwa Limited is an Auckland-based company; we move frozen goods? We deliver refrigerated food and frozen goods throughout Auckland region.

We work as contractors for Tokyo Foods. We are currently seeking Two reliable Truck Drivers to join our Auckland team. The positions are full-time permanent positions with a minimum of 32 hours per week from Monday to Friday. (Weekend whenever required)


The successful applicants will be someone who is enthusiastic about work, who is looking for job security, and shares our passion for delivering excellent customer service.


Your Job duties will include:

  • Deliver a wide variety of Frozen Food goods to different addresses and through to to restaurants, Cafés and bar in Auckland region.
  • Different routes in various Region
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Maintain records of deliveries made.
  • Complete log books and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow Health and Safety regulations and safety standards
  • Handing Job Sheets in timely manner
  • Maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading
  • Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
  • Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
  • Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
  • Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
  • Reporting to the Manager/Director
  • Ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration and COF of vehicle are up to date.
  • Must be physically fit for manual handling of deliveries.
  • Ensure the truck is loaded appropriately and the material is recorded correctly.
  • Ensure all loads comply with height, weight, and specification.
  • Must have Valid New Zealand or International Licence Equivalent to Class 1 or Class 2 of New Zealand Truck Driving Licence
  • Must Pass Drug Test
  • Must not have any prior serious driving convictions
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Be flexible to work weekends and public holidays
  • Be physically fit.


To be considered for this role you must be NZ Citizens/ Resident, or legally entitled to work in New Zealand.


Salary:
$30.00 per hour

  • Weekend availability

  • Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Drivers Licence (preferred)
