Are you passionate about agriculture and interested in working on a dynamic chicken farm? We're currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farmhand. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a agricultural enterprise and contribute to the success of our chicken farm.

Responsibilities:

Livestock Care: Provide daily care and attention to our feathered residents, ensuring their well-being and health. Feeding and Nutrition: Assist in feeding chickens and maintaining proper nutrition standards. Farm Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning coops, repairing fences, and ensuring a clean and organized working environment. Health Monitoring: Monitor and report any signs of illness or distress among the flock. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment as needed.



Experience:

Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred but not required. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for animal care. Ability to follow directions and work well within a team. Basic understanding of farm equipment and machinery.



To be successful:

-Must be able to work weekends on a roster basis.

-Ability to follow instructions.

-Pass a pre employment drug screen.

-Must reside in NZ.

-Right to work in NZ.

-You may be required to travel between some farms.
